How do you follow a class act?

A couple of years ago I purchased a set of watches for our anniversary. They are gold with a black faced dial, gold dots for the hours twelve, three, six, and nine o'clock, and gold hour and second hands. Though they were not extremely expensive, and certainly not luxury watches, they were elegant enough for a night on the town. When you have the right accessories it adds a touch of class to your attire. Watch or not, my boyfriend has plenty of class, he's a gentleman through and through!

Now, I wonder what token of love would best suit him this anniversary?

Watches from afar?

My ex-father-in-law was originally from Hungary and while he was over there visiting his sister and her family, he found many souvenirs to bring back to his family here in the states. One that he may have wanted to bring back to his wife of 45 years might have been a watch from the Vacheron Constantin collection of fine watches. There are so many different styles though and being a frugal man when it comes to giving gifts he decided to wait for her to choose the watch she liked most. After all a watch is a personal choice much like fine jewelry, so to make the woman in his life happy he let her choose. I wonder which one he would have picked for her and if she would have chosen differently?

Movies, PS2 Games, & Truck Toolbox?

This month will celebrate a first wedding anniversary, and four birthdays! Lisa and Steve will have celebrated their successful first year together on the 12th, their birthdays on the 18th & 20th. Then our sons will celebrate their birthday’s one day behind the other on the 27th & 28th! Everyone has been covered, all gifts are on order or are purchased except for Steve, our most difficult challenge when it comes to gifts.
In an effort to keep him from "re-gifting" what we give him, we've been considering getting him a truck toolbox. This makes perfect sense as he has been doing a lot of home repair work on their home. It sure would come in handy to have all of his tools with him when he has to travel to do a job.

This is definitely one gift that he'd be hard pressed to pass along!
